Selling On Facebook

How It Works

Choose Your Products

Your channel comes pre-filled with all the Green Rep products (if you wish), or you can select the products you want by brand, category or individual items, it is totally up to you.

Select Your Domain

Select a domain name of your choice to generate your channel and provide your store front with a unique company name and logo, so that you can be found across the internet.

Sell To Your Customers

The products will go live once the URL feed is added to your Facebook account. New products and inventory changes will be updated automatically from our end.

We Process Your Orders

Everything will be handled for you when your customers place their orders. Customers only see your company and channel name, we are in the background not seen by your customers.

We Ship Your Products

We will ship your orders to your customers. Your customers will not see our company name on any shipment. We are in the background processing and  completely handling everything for you.

Facebook: Shop & Shopping

In 2019, Facebook had 2.45 billion users worldwide and that was just the start. It began as a photo-sharing platform, today it stands out to be a place where people can connect with everything they love and want in their life.

You as an online seller can use this platform to reach your customers. If you want to sell on Facebook all you need is a will and investment of time to gain your first ever sale on Facebook.

When Facebook introduced Facebook Shop for the first time, it practically made it simpler for the sellers to sell their products online. It has shortened the bridge between buyer and customers resulting in a better customer experience and brand building.

Messenger, Chat & Shop Selling

Facebook Shops helps small businesses set up a single online store for their customers to access on both Facebook and Instagram. With this new feature, you can also sell products through the chat features of WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. You can tag products during Facebook and Instagram live streams, which will take customers to a product ordering page.

Facebook Marketplace is a place on Facebook where people discover, buy, and sell items. Individuals and businesses can use the above features (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram) to perform these tasks. If you have a Facebook business page and a Facebook Shop with checkout, you can sell as a business on the Marketplace (currently limited to US merchants).

Facebook: Marketplace & Shop Differences

Facebook shop is more of an ecommerce Website. If you own an ecommerce website, you can link your website and choose to sell on Facebook directly.

An ecommerce store has defined pages such as a landing page, categorized products to choose from, fixed pricing and delivery charges, official payment checkout, return services, and any other services you offer to your buyers when they shop from your website.

On the other hand, you can not consider Facebook Marketplace as an ideal ecommerce store, as it is basically more of a platform that is targeted by individual sellers.

Unlike Facebook shop, the Marketplace has very few options for ecommerce. To sell on Facebook Marketplace is to sell your products to you personally. You can simply put your products on display to sell on Facebook where the interested buyers can personally contact you, negotiate the price, and make a purchase.
